How To Get Started With Our Enrollment Process

If you wish to attend one of our beauty school programs, you will need to complete our enrollment process and schedule a tour of our school. The process ensures you meet certain admissions requirements, which are listed below, allows you to select a schedule that fits your needs, and helps you understand your payment options. Total Image Beauty Academy offers many exciting programs in a relaxed, Latin-focused environment in Union City, New Jersey. We educate students so they can pursue their dream careers in the beauty industry!

Next Steps

If you meet the requirements for the program you wish to attend, follow these steps to apply for admission:

  1. Schedule a Tour of the School: Contact us to schedule a personal tour of our campus, so you can get more information, experience our fun and exciting atmosphere for yourself!
  2. Provide Verification Documents: Copy of your high school diploma, official high school transcripts, or general equivalency certificate (GED), valid Federal/State issued Photo ID, and social security card/Tax ID card or letter are required. We are required to verify that your proof of education comes from a valid high school or GED program. If we determine that your diploma or GED certificate is not valid, you will be denied admission to the school.
  3.  If applying for Financial Aid, you will need to bring in your Tax Return. Contact the school to see what year the Department of Education requires.

No. The New Jersey Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling provides licenses. Our school provides the education you need to sit for the State Exam. If you pass the exam, you could get a professional license.

State Licensing Disclaimer

The state may refuse to grant a license if a student has been convicted of a crime; committed any act involving dishonesty, fraud, or deceit; or committed any act that, if committed by a licentiate of the business or profession in question, would be grounds for the New Jersey Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling to deny licensure. The New Jersey Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling may deny licensure because the applicant knowingly made a false statement of fact required to be revealed in the application for such license. Students who are not U.S. citizens or who do not have documented authority to work in the United States will not be eligible to apply to take the state licensure examination. Total Image Beauty Academy is not responsible for students denied licensure.
