Total Image Beauty Academy offers many exciting programs in a relaxed, Latin-focused environment in Union City, New Jersey. We educate students so they can pursue their dream careers in the beauty industry!
We do accept transfer students. A student may transfer to our school by requesting admission. Documents from the previous school and state, if applicable, must be presented. According to the New Jersey State Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling, anyone requesting to transfer to a school must present their former documents and arrange for an evaluation of their skills and knowledge before enrollment.
Unfortunately, we do not accept Ability to Benefit (ATB) students at this time.
Yes, we offer part-time schedule options for most of our programs. In fact, we typically offer a part-time day schedule and a part-time evening schedule in order to better accommodate our students.
Financial aid is available to those who qualify. It is important to note that federal financial aid is only available for our Cosmetology & Hairstyling program and our Skin Care Specialist program. We also offer payment plan options to help students pay for their tuition.

Once you have completed and submitted an application and followed our enrollment process, the enrollment team and director will review your application. We will contact you to let you know if you have been accepted and when you can start!
We are closed for the following days: New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Week (Dec. 24-Jan. 1).
No. The New Jersey Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling provides licenses. Our school provides the education you need to sit for the State Exam. If you pass the exam, you could get a professional license.
The state may refuse to grant a license if a student has been convicted of a crime; committed any act involving dishonesty, fraud, or deceit; or committed any act that, if committed by a licentiate of the business or profession in question, would be grounds for the New Jersey Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling to deny licensure. The New Jersey Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling may deny licensure because the applicant knowingly made a false statement of fact required to be revealed in the application for such license. Students who are not U.S. citizens or who do not have documented authority to work in the United States will not be eligible to apply to take the state licensure examination. Total Image Beauty Academy is not responsible for students denied licensure.
