We are proud to offer a variety of full-time and part-time schedules to meet the needs of our students. Schedules for student teachers are set on an individual basis. Our schedule options include:

A student teacher education is a great way to open up new areas of work in your professional life. You can still practice cosmetology and hairstyling, but once you have a beauty school instructor license, you can also work in a beauty school. You will have a wider influence on the entire beauty industry because you teach the next generation of beauty professionals who will use your knowledge and advice as they make their own clients more beautiful.
Career possibilities for students who complete the student teacher program:
Tuition for the program is $4,700. Books and kit cost $700. Uniforms cost $100. There is also a $100 registration fee. Total cost is $5,600.
While we do offer federal financial aid for some of our programs, we do not offer it for the student teacher program because of the length of the program. If you are looking for ways to help pay your tuition, you could seek out scholarships, student loans from a local bank, or contact us to discuss payment options.
Yes. Our schedule options include part-time day and evening options, so you could work around your school schedule. We may be able to make a specialized schedule for student teachers if that would help you on your journey to becoming a licensed cosmetology instructor.
The program is 500 hours. The time it takes you to complete the program depends on your school schedule. Full-time students could complete the program in as few as 17 weeks, while part-time students could complete it in as little as 25 weeks.
Total Image Beauty Academy is a Latin-focused beauty school with a fun and relaxed environment. Our priorities are directed toward student success. We strive to give students the education they need to sit for the State Exam and pursue their desired professional license. We also teach business aspects of the beauty industry, and we help students with job placement.
It is definitely a possibility! However, you are not limited to teaching at our beauty school. If you pass the State Exam and receive your license, you could apply for teaching positions at other beauty schools, too.

I had an amazing experience at Total Image Beauty Academy. Mr. Mike, Irene,, Sylvia, & Tania were all very helpful to me during my time there. All the girls i’ve met in the school were all so sweet & made the environment feel more comfortable/ welcoming. I definitely enjoyed being a senior & taking clients with the help of two of the best teachers ( Miss Gomez & Miss Jimenez😊) They assist the students with their clients & prepare them for what it’s going to be like when they graduate & work in salons, I just recently graduated from the school & i can honestly say, I really enjoyed my time there. If you’re struggling to find a good school to get your license i would definitely recommend this one!!
I recently graduated at Total Image and I can say I enjoyed and learned a lot during my time there. The environment is very welcoming in this school, and my teachers were always really supportive towards me. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in the program.
